Hiring glasses in Cremorne
Cremorne runs from the flats along Military Road down to the houses on Cremorne Point, and a lot of the entertaining here happens on a balcony or a small terrace with a view of the harbour. Wine glasses and coupes mostly, and highballs once the weather warms up.
Getting here is a straight run down Military Road, so delivery is $35 each way. If you are on the Point, tell us where we can stop. Some of those streets are narrow and we would rather plan for it than circle.
Local halls and venues
If you are hiring a room rather than using your own place, these are the ones people around Cremorne use most. Forsyth Park books through North Sydney Council and St Peter’s through its parish office. Neither comes with glassware.
Forsyth Park Community Centre
2B Montpelier Street, just over the line in Neutral Bay. The main hall takes 70 people and has a kitchen with a stove, oven and fridge. North Sydney Council hires it on Friday evenings and weekends. Council page
St Peter’s Anglican Church, Memorial Hall

What you can hire
Everything comes in crates, and everything comes back dirty. The range is the same wherever we deliver:
- Wine glasses, red and white, mostly Luigi Bormioli lead free crystal
- Vintage coupes and champagne flutes for toasts and anything with photographs
- Highballs and pilsners for spirits, beer and water
- Trumpet and grappa glasses for the less obvious jobs
- A drink dispenser, ice bucket and cheese board as add-ons

How it works
- Tell us the date and the headcount. We come back with a quote, usually same day.
- We deliver, or you collect. Pickup from Northbridge is free. Delivery is $35 each way because you are inside 10 km of us. Further out it is $40.
- Three days. Friday to Monday covers a Saturday party without anybody rushing.
- Send them back dirty. Do not wash them. That is the whole service.
